These are tunes I composed and recorded in my tape-based, 8-track studio in Berkeley in the early 1980s.  The first four were for an imagined album with the working title, "Keepin' the Day Job."  The last one, "The Mechanical Universe," was composed in conjunction with an application I submitted for Project Manager for the "Mechanical Universe" series.  In the end, they taught me to stick to covers!
